Graduating film school in 2021, Kaniska began his practice as a photographic technician, refining his skills in the London analogue trade. In recent years, he has adopted a focused approach to darkroom printing, emphasising the traditional approach to the photographic medium in his projects. His current body of work is a long-term photographic observation of the culture in Massa-Carrara, the Italian province in which he was raised.
